As part of efforts aimed at promoting the industry while enhancing professionalism in the out of home sector, the Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria, (OAAN), has partnered with the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency, LASAA, for mutual understanding and relationship. Specifically, the two bodies have inaugurated a joint committee comprising majorly of members of the body alongside top management of LASAA.
The committee members were given the mandate to work together on ways with which they can join forces to develop professionalism in the industry, as well as forge a better rapport with stakeholders. This move was made by both parties at a recent event held at the corporate head office of OAAN in Lagos.
LASAA’s managing director, Mr. George Noah, who was represented at the occasion by his deputy, Mr. Olumide Shogunle, expressed his agency’s readiness to work in partnership with OAAN so as to strengthen the bond of relationship while also ensuring growth and development of the industry.
His words, “Our coming together is to promote mutual understanding and development of the industry so that it will be a win-win situation for all the parties involved”. He stated that there is no under-estimating the fact that partnering with OAAN will make regulating the industry much easier as well as ensuring and guaranteeing profitability for the operators.
Mr Charles Chijide, president, Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria, (OAAN) confirmed the partnership by stating that the two bodies are working together for the betterment of the industry.
“The collaboration is aimed at promoting a smooth relationship between the two associations and to professionally develop the outdoor advertising landscape, not only in Lagos, but also in the country as a whole,” Chijide said
